বহন করার ডাণ্ডাগুলো এত লম্বা ছিল যে পবিত্রতম স্থানের সামনে থেকেই সেগুলো দেখা যেত| তবে মন্দিরের বাইরে থেকে এগুলো দেখা যেতো না| ঐ ডাণ্ডাগুলো এখনো পর্য়ন্ত ঠিক সেভাবেই রাখা আছে|

And they drew out the staves [of the ark,] that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
